Terrorists Are Stepping Out Of The Middle East To Lock Bangladesh Or Affect The Clothing Industry.

In July 1st, a terrorist attack on a coffee shop in Bangladesh's capital Dhaka resulted in the death of 20 people. The New York Times identified it as an ironclad evidence that Islamic terrorists moved out into the Middle East.

This attack did not capture the news page, but the importance was not less than any terrorist attack. If terrorists infiltrated Bangladesh and affected commercial activities, the first thing to do was garment apparel industry, which accounts for 80% of export volume.

Bangladesh is the second largest garment exporter in the world after China, mainly supplying apparel market in developed countries, including large global markets.

The attack on the cafe in the capital of Dhaka is aimed at foreigners, which makes foreigners more skeptical about the deterioration of the Bangladesh safety net.

Sarah Labowitz, a professor at stern business school in New York, believes that Bangladesh's fear of aggression will affect buyers of foreign fashion industry, which will last for several months and even affect the shopping season this year.

Bangladesh garment manufacturers and export associations say they are afraid to attack national image and business activities, but the extent of the impact is unclear.
