AOKANG's "shoe free store" mode was first released at the China International leather exhibition yesterday. The largest exhibition hall has not placed 1 pairs of shoes except a few intelligent machines.


according to AOKANG Insiders say that customers will buy shoes like this in the store: first, pick up your favorite 3D shoes first through the "smart shoe screening screen"; secondly, through the computer control, try out the shoes selected before the "body sense shoes mirror"; secondly, measure the three-dimensional data of each part of the foot on the "foot type meter"; then, through the "gait analyzer" to record various gait kinematics parameters, provide guidance parameters for the computer recommendation footwear; finally, place the order on AOKANG's e-commerce platform, "customers can receive their own customized shoes when they wait at home."


Wang Zhentao told reporters that next, AOKANG will launch the national promotion plan. Due to the higher customization price and the relatively high level of customer groups, it is tentatively planned to try "no shoes store" in big cities such as Shanghai and Beijing.


AOKANG's 2012 annual report shows that as of the end of last year, the company has 5315 terminal sales outlets nationwide, and is in the leading position in China. According to AOKANG's annual report this year, the company achieved operating income of 1 billion 490 million yuan, down 7.79% compared to the same period last year, and realized a total profit of 280 million yuan, down 17.66%.


In this regard, Wang Zhentao explained that this is mainly related to the overall economic downturn and the consumer market downturn, which has brought enormous pressure to AOKANG's offline sales. In contrast, AOKANG's e-commerce business is showing a rapid growth trend. In 2012, the income of AOKANG online shopping reached nearly 220 million yuan, an increase of 275.86% over the same period last year.


Wang Zhentao said that high inventory is a common disease in the shoe and clothing industry. Generally speaking, the traditional stores need to arrange 500 or so styles of shoes, involving hundreds of thousands of yuan. The "shoe less franchised store" mode is a new attempt for AOKANG entity to graft e-commerce, and will eventually achieve zero inventory, zero distance and zero working capital.
